Paying for Home Care

Sunvera Home Care is a licensed Private Home Care Provider. We accept multiple sources of payment to cover the costs of home care and nursing services. Sources of payment we accept include private pay (out of pocket), long-term care insurance, and Medicaid.

Private pay to cover home care costs.

Your funds or funds you have access to are used to cover insurance co-pay, Medicaid cost share, uncovered costs, or 100% of home care costs. We accept major credit cards and can process checks online.

I have a long-term care insurance policy.

If you have a long-term care policy, we can develop your care plan and help you start obtaining approval from your insurance carrier to cover allowable home care costs as determined by your policy.

Medicaid may cover home care costs.

The State of Georgia administers the Medicaid Elderly and Disabled Waiver Program to assist individuals who are older or functionally impaired to continue living in their own homes as an alternative to nursing home placement. For clients who meet eligibility requirements, certain Medicaid waiver programs will cover or partially cover costs of the following services :

• assistance with drinking and eating
• assistance with bathing and personal hygiene
• preparation of meals
• light housekeeping
• assistance with other activities of daily living
• nursing
