Paying for Home Care

Sunvera Home Care is a licensed Private Home Care Provider. We accept multiple sources of payment to cover the costs of home care and nursing services. Sources of payment we accept include private pay (out of pocket), long-term care insurance, and Medicaid.

Private pay for home care service

Funds that you have access to are used to pay for insurance co-pay, Medicaid cost share, uncovered costs, or 100% of the cost for home care service. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, checks, and eChecks.

Long-term care insurance policy

If you have a long-term care policy, we can develop your care plan and help you request approval from your insurance carrier to cover allowable home care costs as determined by your policy. Typically, insurance carriers have an elimination period (a specified number of days that a policy holder must pay out-of-pocket for service before the benefit begins) and require policy holders to pay for each invoice to receive reimbursement from the carrier.

Medicaid Elderly and Disabled Waiver Program

The State of Georgia administers the Medicaid Elderly and Disabled Waiver Program to assist individuals who are older or functionally impaired to continue living in their own homes as an alternative to nursing home placement. Sunvera Home Care participates in CCSP and SOURCE. For clients who meet eligibility requirements, CCSP or SOURCE will cover or partially cover the costs of the following services :

• assistance with drinking and eating
• assistance with bathing and personal hygiene
• preparation of meals
• light housekeeping
• assistance with other activities of daily living
• nursing
